Thank you for enquiring about advertising on the UruXpat website. 
These are our Terms and Conditions:

  1. Advertising is sold for one-year periods, which can be paid for with automatic monthly or quarterly payments in advance, or annually in advance with a ten percent discount.  The annual advertising paid subscription period for the first year will commence ten days after payment is received. 

  2. During the ten days after payment is received, the advertiser can submit ad information in one of two ways:

    1. With the form below toggled to “Submit an Ad Banner,” you can upload ready-to-post ad formats in JPEG, PNG, JPG, or TIFF formats.  Your ad should include languages you support (for example “English, Spanish”) and geographical areas you serve (for example “Uruguay-wide,” or “Montevideo and Punta del Este,” etc.)

    2. With the form toggled to “Submit Ad Content,” you can upload information for your ad such as logos, other images, or text in Word format, and UruXpat will create a simple ad layout for you free of charge.  Likewise, the information you submit should include languages you support (for example “English, Spanish”) and geographical areas you serve (for example “Uruguay-wide,”  or  “Montevideo and Punta del Este,” etc.) so this can be included in your ad.

  3. Advertisers are strongly encouraged to include links to their business websites and social media.Submitted ready-to-post ad banners should have a height-to-width ratio of 4:3, and should leave space along the bottom margin for any social media icon links that will be superimposed on the layout, as seen in the site advertisements.

  4. Ads will be added to the website as soon as the art work is received or the necessary information is provided for UruXpat to create the ad layouts.  There are no fees applied for ads running during the ten day pre-paid-subscription period.

  5. Advertisers may select the option for automatic annual renewal, with notices in advance of upcoming renewal in order to allow cancellation.

  6. UruXpat reserves the right to refuse any ad content, and the right to cancel any ad contract, making pro-rata refunds for remaining contract periods. Customers may cancel their ads at any time for pro rata refunds.

Ad information

To submit the information you would like to show in your ad on UruXpat, you can either submit a ready-to-post, completed ad layout image, or you can submit the text and images that you would like to display, and UruXpat will create the layout for you at no additional cost.  In both cases, you can include contacts and social media URL’s that will display as icons with links, or you can have this information displayed as text in your ad (without links), or you can have both.

  1.  You can upload your completed ad image below.  It should have a height-to-width ratio of 4:3.  It is highly recommended that the image include text describing the languages you deal with in addition to Spanish, and the geographic areas you operate in.

  2. If you want to display spelled-out email addresses, phone numbers or social media addresses, they should be text within the competed image.

  3. If you want to have icons with links to your email addresses, phone numbers or social media, include them in section 3 below

​Please enter any of the following contact information and social media URL’s you would like to include in your ad as icon links. You may also include some or all of this information in the text of completed ads submitted to UruXpat.

Note: Please enter the Phone Number and WhatsApp number with the country code, followed by the number without any spaces e.g., +11234567890. These numbers will be used to automatically generate clickable contact links for your advertisement.
